# Linux でインストールを始める

> Linux への ABBYY FineReader Engine のインストールを始めましょう。開発者向けインストールまたはランタイム インストールを選び、自動、手動、またはウィザード モードで設定し、オンライン保護またはソフトウェア保護を選択できます。

最適なインストール方法を確認するには、いくつかの質問に答える必要があります。

まず、ライブラリをインストールする目的は何ですか。

* ライブラリを使用する新しいアプリケーションを開発する場合は、[開発者向けインストール](/ja/fine-reader/engine/installation/installation-linux/developer-installation) が必要です。
* ライブラリを使用するアプリケーションをすでに開発している場合は、エンドユーザーのコンピューターにランタイムインストールが必要です。

次に、必要なインストールの種類を選択してください。

* スタンドアロン インストールは、アプリケーションを1台のローカル コンピューターで実行する場合を想定しています。ライセンス情報も同じコンピューターに保存されます。
* ネットワーク インストールでは、ライセンスをリモート サーバーに保存し、必要に応じてワークステーションに配布できます。

次に、どのインストール方法を使用するかを選択します。

* 自動インストール - 組み込みの ABBYY コマンドライン インストーラーを使用します
* インストール ウィザード - セットアップ アシスタントを使用します
* 手動インストール - ファイルを手動でコピーするか、そのための独自のスクリプトを作成します

手動インストール モードは、アプリケーションで必要な機能が一部に限られており、不要なリソース ファイルを省いてディスク容量を節約したい場合に便利です。

最後に、ご利用のライセンス保護の種類を確認します。[アクティベーション](/ja/fine-reader/engine/licensing/activation) で説明しているとおり、利用できる保護タイプは 2 種類あります。

* オンライン保護 — ライセンスの使用にあたり、インターネット経由で ABBYY Online licensing service に接続する方式
* ソフトウェア保護 — アクティベーションが必要なシリアル番号を使用する方式

インストール手順には若干の違いがあるため、それぞれの保護タイプごとにシナリオ別に説明します。

  ## ネイティブ環境での ABBYY FineReader Engine

ABBYY FineReader Engine は、2 つの別個の Docker コンテナで実行できます。

* 1 つ目のコンテナには FineReader Engine が含まれます
* 2 つ目のコンテナには Licensing Service が含まれます。

このセクションで説明する Linux 向け ABBYY FineReader Engine (FRE) のインストール シナリオは、開発者向けインストールを除き、いずれも同じ基本的な手順に従います。

1. まず、ワークステーションに FRE をインストールします。
2. 次に、Licensing Service をインストールします。
3. 最後に、ライブラリを使用するためのライセンスを設定します。

インストールには、次のものが必要です.....

* ネットワーク ライセンスの場合: ネットワーク ライセンス サーバーの接続情報。
* Online License 保護の場合: Online License のトークン ファイルと、そのファイルのパスワード。トークン ファイルはライブラリと一緒にインストールすることをお勧めします。
* ソフトウェア ライセンス保護の場合: ライセンスのシリアル番号。
