The internal data used by the Scanning Station comprise the images of scanned documents, the instructions for separating images into documents and batches, and the parameters to be used for scanning, processing, and exporting images (batch types).

Local storage

By default, the Scanning Station stores its internal data together with the application settings for the current user: %LOCALAPPDATA%\ABBYY\ScanStationVantage\5.0 To change the default path, create a key in the Windows Registry [Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ABBYY\ScanStationVantage\5.0\Shell] "CustomDataFolder"="New_path".

Credential roaming

If you use credential roaming, we recommend that you specify the following path for storing internal data: [%LOCALAPPDATA%\ABBYY\ScanStationVantage\5.0]
