Transaction Data and Logs
- Transactions are deleted after 14 days regardless of their status. All related documents, recognized and extracted data, and transaction event logs are also deleted.
Automatic deletion does not affect documents uploaded when setting up and publishing skills (such as training and demo document sets). If necessary, training document sets can be deleted in the Skill Designer when transferring between environments.
- Transactions can also be deleted manually using the Vantage API before their storage period expires. For more information, see the Vantage API Swagger documentation.
- Technical logs are deleted after three months.
Skill Training and Online Learning
- Trained models do not retain data from the documents they were trained on.
- A skill can be trained and transferred between environments without a training set. For more information, see the Skill Designer documentation on exporting skills.
- You can train a skill and either delete the training documents if they are no longer needed, or keep them for Online Learning.
- By default, Vantage does not collect documents for Online Learning. If Online Learning is enabled, Vantage collects a training set of documents that contain corrections made during manual review. This training set is not deleted automatically.
- Collected documents can be accessed, reviewed, and deleted using the Skill Designer. Newly collected documents gradually replace older ones, because the maximum size of a training set is limited. For more information, see the Skill Designer documentation on Online Learning.
- Online Learning can be disabled for a skill once the required accuracy has been reached. Once it’s disabled, you can delete the collected documents using the Skill Designer.
