You can upload documents to ABBYY Vantage from your mobile device — no app download or installation required.
System Requirements for a Mobile Device
iPhones and iPads
- Device model: iPhone 11, iPad Pro or later.
- Operating system: iOS 14 or later.
- Web browser: Safari 14 or later.
Android smartphones and tablets
- Operating system: Android 8 or later.
- Google Play Services.
- Web browser: Chrome 57, Samsung Internet 7 or Opera 43, or a more recent version of any of these browsers.
Starting Mobile Upload
- In ABBYY Vantage, click the Documents tab in the left pane.
- Click the Mobile Upload button.
Depending on whether you have already uploaded documents, this button appears either on the main screen or on the toolbar at the top of the Documents page.
A QR code appears on your computer screen.
- Point your mobile device’s camera at the QR code and tap the link that appears. This opens a web page with options for uploading from your mobile device.
- To launch the micro application, do one of the following:
- On iOS, tap Open on the App Clip Smart Banner.
- On Android, tap Start Capture.
To upload using a web browser instead, tap Continue with Browser on the web page. For more information, see Uploading documents using web browser.
If you cannot scan the QR code, click Copy mobile upload link on the QR code screen and send the link to your mobile device manually.
