The Application Server needs .NET Framework 4.7.2 and Internet Information Services installed first.
Either disable User Account Control before installing ABBYY FlexiCapture, or perform every setup action from the built-in administrator account.

Install .NET Framework and IIS

Third-party components installed automatically

Installing the ABBYY FlexiCapture servers also installs the following components:
  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Runtime
  • Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML6), which the Application Server requires
  • CodeMeter Runtime, needed if you plan to use a license stored on a CodeMeter USB dongle from Wibu-Systems
