- Processing Server – Controls the Processing Stations.
- Licensing Server – Stores and manages licenses.
- Application Server – Controls the remaining components, including the Web stations. Web stations let Operators connect to the server and process documents in a browser, with no ABBYY FlexiCapture installed on their own machines.
- Specify the Licensing Server address as

https://<ApplicationServer>, where<ApplicationServer>is the computer running the Application Server.
To use remote stations over the Internet, the Application Server must be accessible over the Internet.
Install the Application Server and web stations on different computers
By default, the Application Server and the web stations are installed on the same computer. You can install the Application Server and web stations on different computers if required. For example, you might install the Application Server in a DMZ network while exposing the web stations to an external network. The setup program does not allow installing only the Application Server or only the web stations. Use the following workaround:- Install both the Application Server and the web stations on computer M1 and on computer M2.
- Redirect the web stations installed on M1 to the Application Server installed on M2.
