Create a new tenant

A new tenant needs a name, an administrator email address, and a licensing choice.

Creating a tenant sends an email to the tenant Administrator, but only if email notifications are set up under Settings → SMTP settings.

Open the new tenant page

In the Administration and Monitoring Console, click Settings → Tenants, and then click New tenant.

Specify the tenant settings

Setting	Notes
Name of the tenant	Required. Use English characters, digits, and underscores only, with no spaces.
Description of the tenant	Optional.
Email address of the tenant Administrator	Required.
License number	Enable Share main license to let the tenant use the main license, or specify a number in the License number field to activate an individual license.

Save the tenant

Click Save.

ABBYY FlexiCapture then generates an email containing a login, a temporary password, and the address of the tenant sign-in page, in the format https://<ApplicationServer>/FlexiCapture12/Login/<TenantName>. For example:

Delete a tenant

You delete tenants from the Settings → Tenants page of the Administration and Monitoring Console.

Deleting a tenant destroys all of its data, including its projects and users. You cannot undo this.

Open that page, select the tenant in the list, and click the Delete button.
