Saving and Publishing a Form; Checking a Form for Machine-Readability
Ensuring Machine-Readability
Check a form for machine-readability in ABBYY FormDesigner, review detected defects such as missing anchors or overlapping elements, and save the report.
You can check your form to make sure it is machine-readable at any moment of the design stage (Tools → Check Form).
If no errors are detected, you will see a message saying that the check was successful.
If some errors are detected, they will be displayed at the bottom of the window after the check completes.
A report will contain all the defects that may prevent the form from being correctly processed by computer: no anchors, no form identifiers, form elements are too close or overlap form margins, etc.
