The Settings → Email notifications page lists every available email notification. All of them are disabled by default.

Notification events

An Administrator can set up notifications for the following events.

Set the server address

Before you configure any notification, specify the client’s web server address in the Server address field, in the format https://<ApplicationServer>/FlexiCapture12.

Edit notification templates

An Administrator can view and edit the template for every notification type. Templates accept parameters that the system fills in automatically. The Reset to default option restores the original text.

Choose subscribers and switch notifications on or off

Four notifications take a subscriber list: New permission request, The license is running out of pages, The license will expire soon, and Errors and warnings. When you edit any of them, you can do two more things.
  • Add system users and user groups to a list of subscribers. The Send To field finds a user and adds them to the list.
  • Turn the notification on or off with the Send emails option. A disabled notification shows the Notifications disabled icon beside it in the list.

Email notification about errors and warnings

This notification type has settings of its own. An Administrator can:
  • Configure error and warning email notifications for one or several projects, in the Projects field.
  • Add users or groups of users to the recipient list, in the Send To field.
  • Configure how often the notification reaches subscribers, in the Frequency of notifications field.
  • Set how many errors appear in the email body, in the Include N error messages in the email body field.
You can create this type of notification as many times as you need, each with different projects, users, and frequency. Notifications of this type can also be deleted and renamed.

System tags for error and warning messages

The subject and body are editable, and they accept parameters that the system fills in automatically. The Reset to default option restores the original text.
