Set up email notifications in a tenant - ABBYY Documentation

A tenant administrator can send email notifications to tenant users when certain events occur. Tenant notifications are configured the same way as system ones. For more information, see Email notifications.

Notification events

Event	When the notification is sent
New user registration	A new user has been added to the system.
Password reset	The administrator has reset the user’s password. The email contains a temporary password for logging in.
New permission request	The user has submitted a permission request. See Process permission requests.
Your license is running out of pages	The number of pages the user can process on the current license has reached a threshold.
Your license is about to expire	The number of days the license remains valid has reached a threshold. Replacing an expiring license with another expiring license sends no repeat notification.
Other notifications → Errors and warnings	Errors and warnings have occurred in projects.

System tags for tenant messages

Tag	What it inserts
`{name}`	The name of a user.
`{login}`	The login of a user.
`{password}`	The password of a user.
`{tenantname}`	The name of a tenant.
`{username}`	The name of the user who sent a request.
`{usertext}`	The text of a request.
`{nminutes}`	The time it takes to update a notification.
`{errorsdescription}`	The description of errors in an email body.

License status notifications

Two of the notification events depend on the tenant’s license type.

The Your license is running out of pages and Your license is about to expire notifications need a personal license on the tenant.
