ABBYY FlexiCapture Reporting Service collects information about the quality of document processing in ABBYY FlexiCapture.
In ABBYY FlexiCapture Cloud, the Reporting Service is available only through the Web API. For more information, see ABBYY FlexiCapture Reporting Service for Cloud.
You can install the service separately from ABBYY FlexiCapture. It stores all information in a separate database, so it does not affect the performance of the program.

Version compatibility

The Reporting Service works with ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 R3 Update 1 and later. It does not work with earlier versions. Starting from ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Release 3 Update 5, the Reporting Service is compatible only with its corresponding version of ABBYY FlexiCapture.

Service components

The Reporting Service consists of two services.
  • Reporting service – Collects information about modifications made to documents and calculates the statistics used in reports.
  • Data access service – Retrieves data from the Reporting Service through the Web API or a local SMB folder. This component is optional and is not installed by default.

What the reports show

Reports built from the collected data show:
  • How many documents were processed straight through, without verification
  • How many documents were verified, and how much time was spent verifying them
  • How the performance of the program improved over time
  • The quality of document classification

When reporting data is exported

An automatic export covers the reporting data accumulated on the previous day. The first export therefore runs one day after you install and configure the Reporting Service. To export reporting data at any time, use the API. For more information, see REST API data access.

Current limitations

The current version of the Reporting Service does not support:
  • Viewing SLA violations
  • Collecting information for audit trails
  • Comparing field values before and after verification
