Starting from ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Release 3 Update 5, the Reporting Service is compatible only with its corresponding version of ABBYY FlexiCapture. Upgrade a previous version to the current version with the ABBYY FlexiCapture Reporting installer.
You cannot use the setup wizard to upgrade the ABBYY Reporting Service.

Upgrade the Reporting Service

Uninstall the previous version

Remove the existing ABBYY Reporting Service installation.

Download the installation package

Get the ABBYY Reporting installation package.

Run the installer

Run the executable file and follow the instructions in the setup wizard.
After the installation is complete, you do not need to create or configure the Reporting database. The Reporting Service uses the existing database.
