The Connect REST rules are the basic entities that interact with the ABBYY Vantage API over HTTP. Each rule calls a specific method of the ABBYY Vantage public API. For a detailed description of the API, see the ABBYY Vantage API Swagger:

Connect REST rules in the sample application

The AbbyyVantageSample application includes the following Connect REST rules:

Rule	Request type	Response content type	Description
`GetSkills`	GET	`application/json; charset=UTF-8`	Gets a list of skills in the ABBYY Vantage tenant in JSON format.
`StartTransaction`	POST	`application/json; charset=UTF-8`	Creates a transaction in ABBYY Vantage with the specified skill, adds the image files to the created transaction, and launches the transaction. Returns a transaction identifier.
`GetTransactionStatus`	GET	`application/json; charset=utf-8`	Gets the status of a transaction. Possible statuses: `New`, `Processing`, `Processed`, `Failed`, `Canceled`.
`GetTransactionDocumentList`	GET	`application/json; charset=utf-8`	Gets transaction document identifiers in JSON format.
`DownloadDocument`	GET	`application/octet-stream`	Gets the result file for the document.
