The Script Editor lets you write and edit scripts for individual batches or for a batch type.

How to open

Click Edit… on the Scripts tab.

Choose a language

Pick the scripting language from the Script Editor: JScript®, VBScript, C#.Net, VisualBasic.Net, or JScript.Net.

Check a script

Validate the script code in any of these ways:
  • Click Check on the Script Editor toolbar.
  • Choose Tools > Check Script.
  • Press F9.

Close

Choose File > Exit or click the Close button in the upper-right corner of the window. For more on scripting, see Using scripts.
