Select the group
Select the group of elements you want to delete.

Delete it
On the Edit menu, select Delete (or select Delete on the shortcut menu).
Deleting elements that are part of a group also deletes the group. To delete only the group and keep its elements, make sure that only the group is selected, not the elements.
