Font dialog box - ABBYY Documentation

You can set the font for some form elements in the Font dialog box. To open it, select Font on the element’s shortcut menu. You can set the font for Checkmark Field, Group Field, and Text elements.

Font tab

Setting	Description
Font	Selects a font for the selected text fragment.
Font style	Selects the font style: Regular, Italic, Bold, or Bold Italic.
Size	Selects a font size for the selected text fragment.
Color	Selects a color for the selected text fragment.
Effects	Applies text effects: underline or strike through.

The list of colors depends on the form type (black and white or color background).

Character spacing tab

Setting	Description
Spacing	Changes the spacing in the selected text fragment.
By	Increases or decreases the spacing between characters (stretches or compresses the text).
Position	Sets the position of the text fragment: normal, above, or below the rest of the text.
