Skip to main contentThe Error Log section of the Skill Monitor service displays information about system errors and warnings that have recently occurred, for example:
- Errors on failed import of data catalogs from the shared folder
- Errors on unsuccessful import of documents from the shared folder
- Errors on unsuccessful import of emails from the mailbox
- Errors and debug messages from Custom activity and External system (Output activity) scripts, etc.
This information can help you improve your system’s performance, as well as send error information to technical support.
In this section, data is displayed in the form of a table that contains the following information about events containing errors:
- Date specifies the date and time of the event.
- Transaction ID specifies the ID of the event’s transaction. The Transaction ID may not be displayed if the error occurred before the start of the transaction.
- Event specifies an event type: Error or Warning. A Warning event does not interrupt the transaction, however, a warning text is displayed to draw the attention of the user. An Error event halts the transaction, with the user having to resolve the cause of the error and start the transaction again.
- Skill specifies the name of the skill that caused the event.
- Step specifies the step where the event occurred.
- Description contains a description of the event (error or warning text).
You can use the filters at the top of the screen to filter the error list by specific skills and time periods.
To view information about the transaction of the event with the error, select an event from the table and click Show Transaction in the toolbar. This will open a window containing a detailed overview of all transaction events.
If you need to look up errors from a specific transaction, use the search bar in the toolbar to find it. You can use both the Transaction ID and the event description to search for a transaction.
To send an error list to either the technical support or the system administrator, export your filtered list to a CSV file by clicking Export to CSV in the top part of the error list screen.
