ABBYY Scanning Station is a software solution for batch scanning of large amounts of documents. ABBYY Scanning Station allows you to:
  • manage your scanner, i.e. initiate and stop the scanning processes and make the necessary scanner settings
  • control the quality of scanned images
  • prepare images for subsequent processing: for data capture by means of ABBYY FlexiCapture.
Scanning Stations have two modes: the Administrator mode and the Operator mode. The Administrator mode is intended for setting up the Scanning Station, so all Station features are available in this mode. For information on how to set up Scanning Stations, see the Administrator Features section. The Operator mode is intended for scanning images, checking their quality and exporting them. Some settings are not available in this mode. For information on Scanning Station functionality, see the Operator Features section.
