ABBYY Scanning Station is an application for batch scanning of large volumes of documents. With ABBYY Scanning Station, you can:
  • Manage your scanner: start or stop scanning and adjust its settings.
  • Control the quality of scanned images.
  • Prepare images for data capture in ABBYY FlexiCapture.
Scanning Stations have two modes: Administrator mode and Operator mode.

Administrator mode

Use Administrator mode to set up the Scanning Station. All station features are available in this mode. For more information about setting up Scanning Stations, see Administrator features.

Operator mode

Use Operator mode to scan images, check their quality, and export them. Some settings are not available in this mode. For more information about Scanning Station features, see Operator features. For a description of the application interface, see ABBYY Scanning Station interface.
