Description

New Batch

Creates a new batch.

Create Document

Creates a document from pages.

Disassemble Document

Disassembles a document, i.e. the pages from this document are placed in the current batch and the document itself is deleted.

Scan Pages

Scans images and places the scans into a new batch of the current type.

Select and Scan…

Opens the Select and Scan dialog box, where you can launch the scanning process after selecting one of the available scanner sources.

Rescan Selected Pages

Scans the selected pages anew.

Insert Pages

Scans images and places the scans into the selected batch.

Stop

Stops the scanning or image import process.

Load Images…

Imports images from files.

Send Batch

to Local Folder…

Exports a batch to a local folder. You can select export options in the Send to Folder dialog box.

to FTP Folder…

Exports a batch to an FTP folder. You can select export options in the Send to FTP dialog box.

to FlexiCapture…

Exports a batch to ABBYY FlexiCapture. You can select export options in the Send to ABBYY FlexiCapture dialog box.

  

Using Script

Exports a batch by using a script. You can select export options in the Send Using Script dialog box.

Sending Options…

Opens the Sending Options dialog box, where you can select batch export options.

Exit

Quits ABBYY Scanning Station.

Document separation is carried out in accordance with the options selected in the Options dialog box on the Batch Properties tab, as well as based on the batch type properties specified when creating the batch in the Batch Type Wizard or in the Batch Type Properties dialog box on the Batch tab.
Run ScriptRuns execution of a selected script.

Show Batches of Selected Type

Enables/disables displaying only the batches of the type selected on the Batch Types toolbar.

Show Document Types instead of Names

Shows document types instead of default numerical names.

Collapse

Collapses the tree diagram in the Batches window.

Expand All

Expands the tree diagram in the Batches window.

Go to Previous Page

Moves the selection to the previous page.

Go to Next Page

Moves the selection to the next page.

Go to Previous Document

Moves the selection to the previous document.

Go to Next Document

Moves the selection to the next document.

Scale

Controls image display in the Image window.

 

Zoom In

Makes the image twice as large.

Zoom Out

Makes the image twice as small.

Scaled Up

Displays one scaled-up page.

One Page

Displays only one page.

Large Thumbnails

Displays pages as large thumbnail images

Medium Thumbnails

Displays pages as medium-sized thumbnail images.

Small Thumbnails

Displays pages as small thumbnail images.

Extra-Small Thumbnails

Displays pages as very small thumbnail images.

Rotate 90° Clockwise

Rotates the selected pages 90° clockwise.

Rotate 90° Counterclockwise

Rotates the selected pages 90° counterclockwise.

Rotate 180°

Rotates the selected pages by 180°.

Flip Horizontally

Flips the selected pages relative to the vertical axis.

Flip Vertically

Flips the selected pages relative to the horizontal axis.

Crop

Crops the selected page.

Invert

Inverts the colors on the selected pages.

Black&&White

Converts the selected pages to black and white.

Deskew

Corrects the skew on the selected pages.

Despeckle

Removes “noise” from the selected images.

Redact

Obscures an area on a page with a color rectangle. You can select the color in Tools → Options…General → Redaction color.

Change Resolution…

Sets a new image resolution (in DPI) for the selected page(s).

Load Full-Size Thumbnail

Loads thumbnails for selected page(s) of a rescanning task.

Properties…

Displays the properties of the selected item. If a page is selected, this menu item opens the Page Properties dialog box, if a document is selected, it opens the Document Properties dialog box, and if a batch is selected it opens the Batch Properties dialog box.
