In ABBYY FormDesigner, you can create forms that consist of several pages. For each page, you can specify a name and the number of its copies within the form. A multi-page form description is exported to XFD format and can then be used in ABBYY FlexiCapture to create a multi-page Document Definition. You can also create a multi-page form based on a form sample.

Add pages

New pages can be added to any type of form. To add a page, select Form → Add Page, or right-click the page name at the bottom of the form and select Insert Page. You can add either an empty page or a page based on a sample. You can also add a new empty page by clicking the new page icon at the bottom of the form. For empty pages, settings are specified on the Empty page layout properties tab of the Options dialog box (Tools → Options…). A page can occur any number of times within a form. Set the minimum and maximum number of page occurrences in the Page Properties dialog box (Form → Page Properties…), where you can also name the current page.

Reorder pages

To change the page order, select a page at the bottom of the form and move it by dragging and dropping.

Export multi-page forms

Multi-page form images can be exported to any of the supported image formats. You can save each page in a separate image file, or all the pages in one image file.
