Stage tools

The Stage Tools tab of the Project Properties dialog box lets you configure tools for the processing stages. On this tab, you can create custom tools, edit their properties, and delete them.

Create a stage tool

Open the Create New Processing Stage Tool dialog box

Click Add….

Define the tool

Enter a name and a description, and select the type of stage from the Type drop-down list.

The new tool is added to the list of tools.

Stage tool settings

To edit a tool, select it and click Edit…. The Processing Stage Tool Settings dialog box opens with the following settings.

Event settings

Option	Description
Add Event… button	Opens the Add Event dialog box, where you choose an event to handle in the stage. To write the script that processes this event, click Edit Script… to open the Script Editor.
Edit Script… button	Opens the Script Editor, where you can edit the script that processes the selected event.
Delete button	Removes the selected event from the list.

Skin settings

Option	Description
Edit Skin… button	Opens the Skin Settings dialog box, where you can set up the appearance of the stage.
Reset Skin button	Resets skin settings to default.
