General
Change the name of the document section, enter or edit its description, and set the minimum and maximum number of section repetitions in the document. The Enabled option includes or excludes a Document Definition section from document processing. When matching a Document Definition that contains unstructured sections, the Allow multi-page documents option becomes available. This option merges several pages from the same section into one document during classification. All pages classified as belonging to the same section as the first page and having the Any position attribute are attached to it. This option is enabled by default for definitions created in ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Release 3 Update 5 and later, and disabled by default when editing definitions created in earlier versions. If the Allow multi-page documents option is not selected for a multipage FlexiLayout, a single-page document is created instead.
FlexiLayout
If a FlexiLayout has been loaded into the section, this tab shows its Name, Version, and Comment. Load a FlexiLayout by clicking the Load button, and unload it by clicking the Unload button. If the full-text recognition settings specified in ABBYY FlexiLayout Studio differ from the Document Definition settings, choose which settings to use:- Use the same recognition settings as Document Definition – Synchronize the settings for faster document processing. This also lets you modify parameters such as font type without launching ABBYY FlexiLayout Studio.
- Use own recognition settings of FlexiLayout – Keep the FlexiLayout’s own recognition settings.
