Configure an IMAP image import profile

Configure an IMAP image import profile that uses Gmail, and select the source for image import.

Open the import profile configuration

Open the image import profile configuration.

Enter your Gmail ID and start sign-in

Enter your Gmail ID, then click Sign-in to start OAuth authentication. A Google OAuth window appears.

Sign in to your Google account

Enter your Gmail account, click Next, and enter your password.

Grant access

Review the trust message and click Continue. If authentication succeeds, the message Thank you for allowing appears. The OAuth pop-up closes and returns you to the Project Setup Station.

Set the connection type

Finalize the IMAP profile settings. Set Type of encrypted connection to Auto and click OK.

Browse the Gmail folders

Click Browse to access the Gmail folder hierarchy.

Select the target folder

Select the folder where documents are dropped for processing.

Complete the profile

Complete the remaining IMAP profile steps.

Enable the Hot Folder

Enable the Hot Folder toggle for the project in the Administration and Monitoring Console.

Test the import

Send an email with an attachment to the selected Gmail folder. Confirm that the document is processed and a batch is created.
