An integrity check verifies that a batch meets the requirements defined on its batch type — correct structure, required fields filled, images within size and resolution limits. This prevents Scanning Station from sending batches that would fail downstream in Vantage.

When the check runs

  • Automatically, right before a batch is sent to Vantage.
  • Manually, when you right-click a batch and choose Check Batch Integrity.
If the check fails, Scanning Station shows what’s wrong so you can fix it.

What gets checked

Checks run only for the rules you’ve enabled on the Batch Type Properties dialog box.
  • Batch structure — the type and number of documents in a batch, if you’ve defined the structure on the Document Types tab and enabled Check document count.
  • Registration parameters — whether all required fields have values.
  • Page size and resolution — if you’ve defined limits on the Page Size Control tab.
