Operators of ABBYY FlexiCapture

Operator roles

The following roles are available in ABBYY FlexiCapture. Each role is set up for the current project.

Role	Access
Scanning Operator	Works on a Scanning Station.
Data Verification Operator	Works on a Data Verification Station and on a Verification Station.
Verification Operator	Works on a Verification Station. Only data checks, assembly errors, and rule validation are accessible.
Senior Verification Operator	Works on a Verification Station, with the entire functionality of the station accessible.
Monitoring Operator	Works in the Administration and Monitoring Console. All features are accessible except setup.
Project Setup Editor	Works on a Project Setup Station.
Operators Manager	Works in the Administration and Monitoring Console, with only the Users, Groups, and Requests tabs available on the Settings page. Can also set up access permissions and assign Operator roles.
Administrator	Works in the Administration and Monitoring Console with the entire functionality accessible. Can access any station in the system. Administrator permissions apply to all projects uploaded to the Application Server, not only the current ones.

The Administrator can configure custom roles that appear in the general list of roles. For more information, see Custom Operator roles.

A role defines the set of stations accessible to the Operator and the queues from which the Operator can get tasks during document processing.

The Administrator and Monitoring Operator roles apply to the entire system. Other Operator roles apply only to individual projects. The Scanning Operator, Data Verification Operator, and Senior Verification Operator roles can also have different access permissions for batches of different types. A user can therefore hold several roles at the same time, for example:

Type 2 batches: Data Verification Operator
