Field verification is a verification mode for correcting errors in well-recognized fields, that is, fields whose range of values is known or easy to identify. A country or city name is a typical example. To decide how to correct such a field, you only need to view it and know its range of values. Field verification corrects both input errors and field format errors.

Confirm or postpone a field

Review the recognition result of each field in sequence, correct it if necessary, and then confirm it by clicking Confirm Field or pressing Enter. To skip a field without correcting or confirming it, click Postpone Field or press Ctrl+Enter. The field is marked as unverified and sent to the next stage according to the workflow settings.

Correct recognized characters

Use the standard modes of a text editor to correct incorrectly recognized characters. Press Insert to switch between character paste mode and character replace mode.

Show the page image for a field

To turn this mode on, click the Page image for field link at the bottom of the page or press Ctrl+Alt+I. Select the image scale in the Image zoom list. Click the link again, or press the shortcut again, to hide the field. To show the page image for analogous fields of other documents, click the Analogous fields link or press Ctrl+Alt+F.

Switch between color and black-and-white

Press Ctrl+Alt+C, or click Settings and select the Show color page images option.

Set the checkmark group selection mode

Checkmark groups are verified in single-value selection mode by default. To keep the editing mode you selected instead, click the Settings link and select the Preserve selection mode for checkmark groups option. To move through the fields you have processed, click Previous field button and Next field button in the bottom right corner of the page, or press Ctrl+Up Arrow and Ctrl+Down Arrow.
