Verify data captured from a document set

A Verification Operator working with a document set can verify the principal fields of all documents in the set by reviewing the summary section, which contains links to the original fields. The links display the values and regions of the original fields, so any error in an original field is visible in the summary section. To open the image and data form of a source document, double-click the link, click Go to Original Field on its shortcut menu, or press Ctrl+Enter. Verification is more efficient, because operators open individual documents only when they notice or suspect errors in the summary section. Verify the assembly of a document set

If a Verification Operator receives a document set that was assembled incorrectly, they can change the order of pages in a document or add or remove documents. Do this by dragging documents with the mouse, or by using the following shortcut-menu commands:
  • Create Document – Creates a new document from the selected pages and documents.
  • Merge – Combines the selected documents into one document. The combined documents must be at the same level in the tree and must immediately follow one another.
  • Split – Splits the selected document into separate pages and documents.
When a page is moved to the topmost level in the batch, it is automatically transformed into a document.

(Verification, Standalone) You can open any number of documents from a document set. A new tab is created for each document. The tab caption shows the number of the document in the batch and the name of each applied Document Definition. A caption marked with an asterisk indicates unsaved changes in that document. To switch between tabs, click a tab, click the arrow buttons to the left and right of the tabs, or click the document-list button and select a document from the list. (Verification, Standalone) Note the following when several documents from a set are open:
  • (Verification, Standalone) Clicking the Save button on the toolbar saves changes in all open documents.
  • (Verification, Standalone) If you open several documents from a set and then open a document from a different set, all documents from the first set close.
  • (Verification, Standalone) When you open a document from a set, its parent documents also open.
(Verification, Standalone) If a Document Definition includes a summary section, it displays copies of the principal fields and any errors in them. Double-click a copy to open its source document.
