Correct a character
Select the character that does not match the group character, using the arrow keys or the mouse, and enter the correct value. The value appears in the upper left corner of the character image, highlighted in green.Postpone a character
If you are still unsure about a character, left-click it or select it and press Space. The character is marked with a red question mark and postponed until field verification.View the context of a character
To see the context of the selected character, press F2. Move the mouse to hide the context.Show the page image for a character
You can display the field that contains a character when you point to that character. To turn this mode on, click the Page image for character link at the bottom of the page or press Ctrl+Alt+I. Select the image scale in the Image zoom list. Click the link again, or press the shortcut again, to hide the field.Switch between color and black-and-white
Press Ctrl+Alt+C, or click Settings and select the Show color page images option.Set the checkmark group selection mode
Checkmark groups are verified in single-value selection mode by default. To keep the editing mode you selected instead, click the Settings link and select the Preserve selection mode for checkmark groups option.Confirm or postpone all characters
Both of these buttons are in the bottom right corner of the page, and clicking either one displays the next screen:- To confirm all unprocessed characters at once, click Confirm All or press Enter.
- To verify unprocessed characters later, click Postpone all or press Ctrl+Enter.
