To use a classifier in other FlexiCapture projects, export it: select Export Classifier in the Classification Training menu or the batch shortcut menu, and then choose a format.
Class mapping is not preserved during export. When you import a classifier into a new project, remap the classes to their Document Definition sections.
FlexiLayout Studio provides additional tools for customizing classification through rules, and it can anonymize the training batch if the documents are confidential or contain personal information. After you finish editing the classifier in FlexiLayout Studio, export it to a CFL file and import it into a FlexiCapture project.

Add a classifier to a project

1

Open the project

Open the FlexiCapture project you want to add the classifier to.
2

Open the Classifier Training Batches view

Click the toolbar button, select Classifier Training Batches in the View menu, or press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+B.
3

Create a batch

Create a new batch if necessary.
4

Open the batch properties

Right-click the batch and select Properties.
5

Load the classifier

On the Classification tab, click Load, and then choose the CFL file that contains your classifier.
To import the images with the classifier, keep them in the same folder as the classifier file. For anonymized images, select Use Anonymized Images for Training in the Classification Training menu after adding the classifier. The images are not displayed in the batch but are still used for training.
To use multiple classifiers at once, set up a classification script. For more information, see Document classification script.
If a classification script specifies multiple classifier batches, the auto-learning feature is disabled.
