Single Sign-On (SSO) lets users reach every resource they need with one set of credentials. They authenticate once, and then move between corporate systems without signing in again. The following applies to SSO in an on-premise ABBYY FlexiCapture deployment.

Why use Single Sign-On

  • Users need to remember only one password.
  • Several accounts become more secure, through centralized account management, a centralized password policy, and activity tracking.
  • Large organizations can manage the life cycle of employee accounts as people are hired, fired, promoted, or demoted.
Centralized account management covers adding, deleting, and blocking accounts. A centralized password policy enforces password strength and regular password changes, and unlocks passwords. Activity tracking follows what users do in corporate IT systems.

Supported standards

ABBYY FlexiCapture supports both SAML 2.0 and JSON Web Tokens (JWT). Administrators set up pass-through authentication once. Users then sign in to the web stations with your company’s authentication method.
