Export settings

You specify export settings for each batch type. When you create a batch, you specify its type, and when you select File → Export to, the batch is exported according to the settings for that batch type. If no batch types are created, all batches are exported with the <default> settings specified for the entire project (Project → Project Properties → Export Destinations tab). If you select File → Export to for a batch whose type is not specified, the batch is exported with the <default> settings. On the Export Destinations tab, you can enable deleting documents after export and specify export options for unrecognized documents. Recognized documents are exported according to the Document Definition settings.

Export options

Option	Description
Export unknown documents	Export unrecognized documents.
Delete documents after export	Delete documents after they are exported. Data on documents deleted immediately after export is not included in reports.
Delete processed batches after	Delay the deletion of processed batches by a duration you specify. This option cannot be applied to batches stored locally. Settings for how batches are deleted during manual or automatic cleanup are available in the Administration and Monitoring Console. By default, processed batches are deleted 14 days after processing.

Image export settings

Option	Description
Image format	Select the image saving format from the list. Click Options to set options for the selected format. All formats support quality, color type, and changing the resolution (in dpi).
Target	Select the export target from the drop-down list, and then specify additional settings for it. Choose one of the following: Create folder structure and filename using template: file names and the subfolder structure are formed from the document parameters. Export documents as separate files: each document is exported to a separate file. Specify the path and the first characters of the file name in the Name prefix field. Recreate filenames and structure of Hot Folder subfolders: the folder structure mirrors the Hot Folder the images were imported from. Select the folder in the Export path field.
Export path	The path to the folder where you want to export files.
Template	File name generation settings. To change them, click Edit. For more information, see Rules for naming export files.
If file exists	A drop-down list that specifies what ABBYY FlexiCapture does if a file with the generated name already exists.
