Starting from ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Release 5, Basic image processing has been superseded by Auto (FlexiCapture will decide which enhancements to apply). If the default Basic image processing settings were used in your projects, the new Auto mode will be selected automatically when you update your projects to ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Release 5 or later (see Image pre-processing options for more information about this new mode). When updating a project, for each batch type with non-default Basic image processing settings an image enhancement profile will be created. The name of the image enhancement profile will be identical to the name of the batch type, and the profile will contain all the settings previously selected for Basic image processing. For the default batch type, a profile named “Basic settings from previous version” will be created. After the project is updated, the created image enhancement profile will be automatically selected in the batch type settings.
