- On the Recognition tab, specify the order in which to apply Document Definitions and document sets, specify recognition settings, select a classifier, and enable NLP if you need to extract named entities.
- On the Event Handlers tab, select and edit event handlers.

Document Definition matching order
The list of Document Definitions and the order in which they are applied are specified in the Default batch type. Edit the list using the Add and Delete buttons. Document Definitions are applied in the order in which they appear in the list. To change the order, click Change FlexiLayout Matching Order to open the Document Definitions Order dialog box, and then click Move Up or Move Down. To speed up FlexiLayout matching, select the Use first acceptable FlexiLayout option. If this option is not selected, ABBYY FlexiCapture matches all available FlexiLayouts and selects the best match. You can also select this option in the Default batch type.(Distributed) To let operators work with newly created batch types, the Administrator must specify which batch types are available to which operators. This is done when assigning operator roles.
