Edit images to correct possible image distortions primarily when processing photos of documents (including from mobile devices) and document scans with complex background that impedes recognition and data extraction (for example, certificates and passports). This stage allows you to improve recognition results for low-quality images.

Image Editing toolbar

Images are processed by means of a special toolbar above the Image window. To display this toolbar, select View > Toolbars > Image Editing. This toolbar contains a set of tools for editing document images manually. For more information, see One-time editing actions.

Processing Profiles window

Processing Profiles window allows an Operator to create a sequence of one-time editing actions that will be applied to pages one by one from top to bottom. To open the Processing Profiles window, perform one of the following steps:
  • Click the Show Processing Profiles button on the image editing tool bar
  • Select Show Processing Profiles in the View menu.
