Match / Classify

Matches the FlexiLayout with the selected pages. / Classifies the selected pages.

Set Matched Result as Reference / Set Classification Result as Reference

Uses the matched alternative or the current classification result as a reference.

Set Reference FlexiLayout Alternative / Set Reference Class

Sets Reference layout alternative / Reference class for the selected pages.

Clear Alternative

Clears the alternative.

Replace Training Set with Selected Pages

Creates a training set based on the selected pages.

Add Selected Pages to Training Set

Adds the selected pages to the training set.

Remove Selected Pages from Training Set

Removes the selected pages from the training set.

Add Images…

Opens the Open Images dialog box, where you can select one or several images to be added to the batch.

Add Images from Folder…

Opens the Add Images from Folder…dialog box, where you can specify a folder to load the images from.

Import Pages from FLS Project…

Opens the Import Pages from FLS Project… dialog box, where you can select a FlexiLayout Studio project from which you want to import pages.

Pre-Recognize

Pre-recognizes the selected pages.

Copy Matched Layout to Reference

Copy Matched Layout to Reference

(only available for images which were matched with their FlexiLayouts)

Creates a reference layout for the image based on the results of FlexiLayout matching.

Copy Matched Layout to Reference

Allows you to compare the results of FlexiLayout matching against the reference layout.

Assemble to Reference Documents…

Opens Assemble to Reference Documents dialog box, where you can set the reference assembly parameters and create a reference assembly of the selected documents.

Move Pages to Batch…

Moves the selected pages to another batch.

Export Pages to Files…

Opens the Export Images to Folder… dialog box, where you can specify export option for the selected images.

Delete Pages

Deletes the selected pages from the batch.

Delete Page Data…

Opens the Select Data to Delete dialog box, where you can select the page data to be deleted.

Correct Orientation

Auto corrects the orientation of pages in the batch. The correct orientation is selected automatically based on the selected pre-recognition language and the settings made in the Options dialog box (Tools → Options…).

Create Named Parameters for Elements…

Opens a dialog box where you can select FlexiLayout elements for which named parameters should be created

Paste Named Parameters from Clipboard…

Allows you to paste named parameters into the selected elements.

Test Header

Tests the header of the document.

Test Footer

Tests the footer of the document.

Properties…

Opens the Properties dialog box.

The way the Training window looks depends on whether reference elements are set to be marked up manually or automatically. When manual editing of reference elements is enabled, the Training window contains the Fields list and the Static elements list. When the program is set to detect reference elements automatically, the Training window contains only the Static elements list. The table below describes shortcut menu commands of these lists.

Note. When building a FlexiLayout, any changes you have made are saved automatically.

Show Matching Statistics

Shows in the Log window the number of pages in the current batch which have been matched with the selected block.

Show Block References

Opens the dependency browser, where you can view the dependencies of the selected block.

Properties…

Opens the Properties dialog box, where you can view the properties of the block.

Match

(FlexiLayout projects only)

Matches the FlexiLayout against the open image. The results of FlexiLayout matching are displayed as detected regions of elements and blocks in the Image window, and as element hypotheses in the Hypotheses window.

Match Reference Document

(FlexiLayout projects only)

Matches the reference document with the image.

Classify

(Classifier projects only)

Classifies the current image.

Show Reference Alternative in Tree

(available only if a reference alternative is available for the page(s))

Shows the reference alternative in the project tree.

Set Reference FlexiLayout Alternative

Specifies a reference FlexiLayout alternative for the selected pages.

Clear Alternative

Clears the FlexiLayout alternative of all the detected elements and blocks on the selected pages.

Go to Page…

Goes to the page with the specified number.

Pre-Recognize

Pre-recognizes the selected pages.

Copy Matched Layout to Reference

(only available for images which were matched with their FlexiLayouts)

Creates a reference layout for the image.

Hide Active Blocks or Elements

Hides the selected blocks or elements on the image.

Shows/hides the captions of all non-selected elements.

Scale

10% … 800%

Sets the scale of the Image window from 10% to 800%.

Fit Width

Fits the width of the image to the window.

Fit Height

Fits the length of the image to the window.

Fit Page

Fits the entire image to the window.

Zoom In

Makes the image 25% as large.

Zoom Out

Makes the image 25% as small.

Show Image Objects

Show All Objects

Displays all the objects detected during pre-recognition.

Hide All Objects

Hides all the objects detected during pre-recognition.

Recognized Words

Displays only the objects classified as Text during pre-recognition.

Recognized Lines

Displays only the objects classified as Recognized Lines during pre-recognition.

Separators

Displays only the objects classified as Separators during pre-recognition.

Barcodes

Displays only the objects classified as Barcodes during pre-recognition.

Raw Objects

Displays all objects identified by pre-recognition.

Note. To select multiple types of objects, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking the desired buttons on the toolbar or selecting the menu items.

Selects an existing block on the image.

Scroll

Scrolls images.

Measure Rectangle

Detects the coordinates and sizes of objects on the image and copies them to the Clipboard.

Create Block

Draws an area on the image and creates a new block.

Create Element

Draws an area on the image and creates a new element.

Draw Location

(FlexiLayout projects only)

Selects the image area that corresponds to the selected block or element.

Add Region Part

(only available if you have selected the Reference layout option)

Adds a rectangular area to the selected block.

Cut Region Part

(only available if you have selected the Reference layout option)

Cuts a segment from the selected block.

Delete Region

(only available if you have selected the Reference layout option)

Deletes the selected block.

Add Vertical Separator

(only available if you have selected the Reference layout option)

Adds a vertical separator to the selected Table block.

Add Horizontal Separator

(only available if you have selected the Reference layout option)

Adds a horizontal separator to the selected Table block.

Delete Separator

(only available if you have selected the Reference layout option)

Deletes a separator from the selected Table block.

Delete Pages

(Matched layout only)

Deletes selected pages.

To select multiple pages, press and hold down the Ctrl key.

Image Operations

Correct Orientation

Auto corrects the orientation of pages. The correct orientation is selected automatically based on the selected pre-recognition language and the settings made in the Options dialog box (Tools → Options…).

Rotate Clockwise

Rotates the image by 90° clockwise.

Rotate Counter Clockwise

Rotates the image by 90° counter-clockwise.

Rotate Upside Down

Rotates the image by 180°.

Flip Horizontally

Flips the image horizontally.

Flip Vertically

Flips the image vertically.

Invert

Inverts the image (turns black into white and vice versa).

Despeckle

Removes excess dots from the image.

Test Element

Tests the selected element.

Properties…

Opens the Properties dialog box.

Right-click somewhere in the right-hand pane of the Hypothesis window to display its shortcut menu.

Show DetailsDisplays the hypotheses for the subelements in the selected Group and Table element.
Go One Level UpGoes one level up the tree and displays the hypotheses of the parent Group element. Available for all hypotheses with the exception of the hypotheses for the root element (SearchElements).
Expand ActiveDisplays all the hypotheses for the next element which originate from the current hypothesis. Available for hypotheses which have more than one child hypothesis for the next element.
Expand AllDisplays all the hypotheses, including those not from the best path. Available for any hypothesis for any element.
Collapse AllHides all the hypotheses which are not from the best path. Available for any hypothesis for any element.
Show Search AreaShows/hides the search area for the element for which the hypothesis has been formulated.
Element Properties…Opens the Properties dialog box, where you can view the properties of the element for which the hypothesis was formulated.
Right-click the Classifier Log window to open its shortcut menu.
