Batch type settings let you check batch integrity. This prevents the Scanning Station from sending batches that do not meet the specified processing conditions. The Scanning Station checks the following:
  • Batch structure – Checked if the batch type specifies the structure on the Document Types tab of the Batch Type Properties dialog box and the Check document count option is enabled. The Scanning Station verifies the type and number of documents in the batch.
  • Registration parameters – Checked if the batch type has required registration parameters.
  • Page size and resolution – Checked if these parameters are specified on the Page Parameters Control tab of the batch type properties.
The Scanning Station checks batches automatically before sending them for processing. An Operator can also run the check manually by selecting Check Batch Integrity on the batch context menu. The check shows troubleshooting information so you can fix any issues.
