The LASERFICHE supports the following methods for getting information about Laserfiche repositories:

getting a list of repositories on the Laserfiche server

IRepositories[] IAfcDmsConnector.GetRepositories();

getting a list of templates in the current repository, which is specified in an export script or an XML file

IMetadataTemplate[] IAfcDmsConnector.GetMetadataTemplates();

getting a list of fields in a template

IField[] IAfcDmsConnector.GetFields(IMetadataTemplate template);

getting the root folder of a repository and a list of subfolders

IFolder exportConnector.GetRootFolder();
IFolder[] exportConnector.GetChildFolders().
