When to use a script instead of an XML file
An XML file can only hold static settings, whereas a script can vary the file naming rules, file locations, and field mappings according to the data in the exported document. ABBYY FlexiCapture Cloud also requires a script, because it cannot store an XML configuration file on the processing stations. For more information about the alternative, see Use an XML file to specify Blue Prism export settings.Changing the export settings means editing the script, which in turn means publishing a new version of the Document Definition.
Script to use
Use the script namedBluePrism - ExportScript - Configure by script.cs, from the connector files.
For a description of every setting in the script, see Blue Prism export options reference.
