The ABBYY FlexiCapture single-task integration solution for Blue Prism ships with a preconfigured ABBYY FlexiCapture project and test images. It demonstrates processing documents in the scenario that does not require verification, using the Unattended service batch type. For that batch type, the Unattended processing schema is selected on the Workflow tab of the Batch Type Properties dialog box, and only the XML export profile is applied at the export stage.

Run the unattended processing example

Upload the sample project

Open the sample project on the ABBYY FlexiCapture Project Setup Station, and then upload it to the ABBYY FlexiCapture Application Server.

Install the VBO and the sample process

In Blue Prism, import BPA Object - FlexiCapture 12 VBO.xml together with the BPA Process - FlexiCapture 12 Processor.xml usage example. For more information, see ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 VBO.

Set the process parameters

In the FlexiCapture 12 Processor example, specify the following:
The user must have the Scanning Operator role for this project and batch type, or the Administrator role.

Start the process

In Blue Prism, start the FlexiCapture 12 Processor process.

What you get back

The image file is sent to ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 and processed, and the results come straight back to Blue Prism. In this example the results include the original image file, an XML document, and the fields and their data, which Blue Prism writes into a text document it creates.
