Configure data export from ABBYY FlexiCapture to Pega - ABBYY Documentation

Prerequisites

Install the following software before you set up the connector:

An ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Project Setup Station for ABBYY FlexiCapture Distributed Edition, or an Administrator Station for ABBYY FlexiCapture Standalone Edition
The ABBYY FlexiCapture Connector for Pega

You also need access rights to Pega.

How export settings are organized

ABBYY FlexiCapture processes documents within projects. It identifies the type of each document and applies the Document Definition prepared for that type. Each Document Definition includes one or more export profiles that determine how document images and data are exported. Set up data export separately for each Document Definition.

Setup steps

Step	What you do
Add the Pega connector assemblies to a Document Definition	Add the connector assemblies to your ABBYY FlexiCapture Document Definition.
Create a Pega export profile	Create a custom script export profile in your Document Definition.
Import the ABBYY FlexiCapture application into Pega	Import the supplied `ABBYYFC` application so that Pega can accept the files and data.

Using your own Pega application

Instead of importing the supplied application, you can create your own application in Pega or add the required functionality to an existing one. For more information, see Create your own Pega application.
