The connector’s installation package includes a Pega application named ABBYY FlexiCapture that accepts the files and data.

Import the application

Launch the Import Wizard

Open Dev Studio and click Configure → Application → Distribution → Import.

Select the archive

In the Import Wizard, click Browse and browse to the ABBYYFC ZIP archive.

Enable advanced mode

Select Enable advanced mode to provide more granular control over the import process, and then click Next.

Apply the schema changes

Select Automatic so that the wizard applies the schema changes for you, and then click Next.

Wait for the schema import

Wait until the application schema is imported into the database, and then click Next.

Review the changes

The Import Wizard displays the objects previously imported into Pega, a list of new objects that are about to be imported, and the components that will be updated as a result of the import. Review the changes, and then click Next.

Finish the import

Wait until the application is installed, and then click Done.

Enable the operator accounts

  1. Click Records → Organization → Operator ID and select the user named Admin.ABBYYFC.
  2. Click the Security tab, clear the Disable Operator option, and click Save.
  3. Repeat these steps for the user named User.ABBYYFC.

Give another user access to the application

  1. Click Records → Organization → Operator ID and select that user.
  2. In the Application Access section, add an Access Group for the ABBYYFC application, for example ABBYYFC:Administrators.
