Prerequisites

Install the following software before you set up the connector:

An ABBYY FlexiCapture Project Setup Station for ABBYY FlexiCapture Distributed Edition, or an Administrator Station for ABBYY FlexiCapture Standalone Edition. Use version 11 with Laserfiche 11, and version 12 with Laserfiche 12.

You also need access rights for Laserfiche Avante/Rio 10.2.

How export settings are organized

ABBYY FlexiCapture uses projects to process documents. A project contains one or more Document Definitions, which are applied to each document after its type has been determined. Every Document Definition has one or more export profiles, which determine how document images and data are exported. Set up each Document Definition individually.

Creating an export profile	Create an export profile in your Document Definition.
Parameters for connecting to the Laserfiche server	Specify the Laserfiche server address, the target repository, and the account credentials used for export.
Specify output image options for Laserfiche export	Specify the format in which document images are saved.
Specify paths for document files in a Laserfiche repository	Specify the destination folder inside the Laserfiche repository and a file naming rule.
Field mapping	Map the fields in your Document Definition to a Laserfiche document template.
