Set up the Capture Data activity

Using the activity in a UiPath process takes four steps, two on the ABBYY FlexiCapture side and two on the UiPath side.

Set up the activity

Configure the ABBYY FlexiCapture project

Configure the project on the ABBYY FlexiCapture server for your usage scenario. For more information, see Single-Task Package usage scenarios.

Create or open a UiPath process

Use one of the following ways:

Create a process in UiPath Studio.
Use the sample UiPath project named ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Processor, which is included in the distribution package. For more information, see A sample UiPath process that uses the Capture Data activity.

Configure the activity

Fill in the activity properties in UiPath Studio. For more information, see Configure Capture Data activity properties.After the ABBYY FlexiCapture project and the UiPath process activity are both set up, you can launch the process in debug mode.

Publish the process to Orchestrator

Publish the UiPath process to Orchestrator so that Robots can use it.For information on how to work with packages and how to set up Robots, refer to the UiPath Orchestrator Guide on packages and Robots.
